About Us

A community-rooted nonprofit for learning, independence, and opportunity.

Focus One Education works alongside immigrant, underserved, and disadvantaged communities in Colorado, while supporting educational advancement for children and families in Liberia. We meet learners where they are — in libraries, community centers, churches, schools, and partner spaces — and we build practical, dignified pathways toward digital literacy, workforce readiness, healthcare education, financial independence, and lifelong learning.

Our Mission

Focus One Education empowers immigrant, underserved, and disadvantaged communities through education, practical skills, resources, and opportunities. We provide programs that promote digital literacy, workforce readiness, healthcare education, financial independence, and lifelong learning while supporting educational advancement for children and families in Colorado and Liberia.

Our Vision

We envision communities where every person, regardless of where they were born or their economic circumstances, has access to the education, skills, and opportunities needed to thrive.

What guides us

  • Dignity

Every learner is met with respect, patience, and cultural understanding.

  • Access

Education, tools, and resources are within reach for people starting over.

  • Independence

Skills that help families support themselves and shape their own futures.

  • Community

Learning happens in relationship, in places people already trust.

Where we work

In Colorado, our educational activities are concentrated in the Denver/Aurora metro area, with the potential to expand statewide as partnerships, funding, and capacity allow. In Liberia, we support educational advancement for children and families through scholarships, school supplies, learning resources, and student support, working alongside schools and community partners.

Our model is partnership-first: rather than operating stand-alone campuses, we bring education into libraries, schools, churches, community centers, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, and workforce centers — spaces learners already trust and can reach.
